BismillahirRahmanirRahim
AsSalaam Aalaikum WaRahamtullahi WaBarakatuhu to all,
"Rabbi Zidni Ilma - My Lord! Increase me in knowledge"
Anas bin Malik (Radi Allahu anhu) reported:
After Allah's Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) departed from this world, Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu anhu) said to Umar (Radi Allahu anhu): "Let us visit Umm Aiman (Radi Allahu anha) as Allah's Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) used to visit her." As we came to her, she wept. They (Abu Bakr Radi Allahu anhu and Umar Radi Allahu anhu) said to her, "What makes you weep? Do you not know that what Allah has in store for His Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) is better than (this worldly life)?" She said, "I weep not because I am ignorant of the fact that what is in store for Allah's Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) (in the Hereafter) is better than this world, but I weep because the Revelations has ceased to come." This moved both of them to tears and they began to weep along with her.
Muslim
As Taken from Riyad-us-Saliheen
*This was the status of these pious people, in hardship they never left their Deen, never turned out of way of Allah during toughest time of their life, and today, we, in midst of all luxuries, keep on complaining and shamelessly skip our prayers n doing all that is disliked by Allah SubhanuWaTa'ala. I feel sorry and sad when I see people enjoying like anything but do not come for namaz. Do they have any contract signed with Allah ? Is there any option for them so that they can skip it ? Please afraid of His punishments – in grave and in Hell Fire. Rest Allah knows best of their intentions and their constraints. May Allah help those, who are genuinely helpless. Peace. Ameen.
Hadith:
Abu Musa (Radi Allahu anhu) reported:
Allah's Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) said, "It is out of reverence to Allah in respecting an aged Muslim, and the one who commits the Qur'an to memory and does not exaggerate pronouncing its letters nor forgets it after memorizing, and to respect the just ruler."
Abu Dawud - Hasan
As Taken from Riyad-us-Saliheen
* Aged Muslim is not any aged Muslim person, but the one who lives a pious life in accordance with Fards of Islam and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW) till his old age.
But that doesn't even mean that any such person who is old and cannot survive without any support and means, and to disrespect him or her. If you can't respect him or her, at least do not disrespect or humiliate them. Let their affair be settled with Allah Ta'ala only.
