    Completely defeats the purpose of an actual Abaya, which is to make you less conspicuous. I guess that is why it says dress style too.The only thing Islamic is the hijab.

    Assalamu alaikum, it's like we women we don't understand by covering that the prophet (SAW) was talking about. It is suppose to be non-attractive, non-transparent and non- fitting, that is to say not attractive in terms of color or design. Not transparent meaning something thick that one cannot see through. Finally not fitting meaning not tight displaying our figures. Being transparent, attractive and fitting should be for our husbands. We should worry about how Allah (SWT) says we should dress not trying to show fashion. After all to Him we shall return. May Allah in His infinite mercy forgive us and guide us to the right path

    I think it depends on the sister who is wearing this style. Dressing modest doesn't mean that you can not look fashionable. As a working muslim woman, I appreciate that there are clothing that I can use to work, being modest and fashionable. I always get compliments, but also I am recognized and respected as a muslim.

    Not Islamic clothing. You should not call it an abaya or Islamic dress, because the body is not covered properly as required by the shariayah.
