Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Obedience to the Prophet (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam)
(In the Light of Qur'an)
"Say (O Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Say (O Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam): "Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam)." But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers."
(Surah-3 *Ale Imran* Ayah-31-32)
"We sent no Messenger, but to be obeyed by Allah's Leave. If they (hypocrites), when they had been unjust to themselves, had come to you (Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) and begged Allah's Forgiveness, and the Messenger had begged forgiveness for them: indeed, they would have found Allah All-Forgiving (One Who forgives and accepts repentance), Most Merciful.
But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission." (Surah-4 *An Nisa* Ayah-64-65)
"Say (O Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam): "O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah - to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). It is He Who gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam), the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam), who believes in Allah and His Words [(this Qur'an), the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and also Allah's Word: "Be!" - and he was, i.e. 'Îsa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), Alaihis-salaam], and follow him so that you may be guided."
(Surah-7 *Al Araf* Ayah-158)
"O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered."
(Surah-8 *Al Anfal* Ayah-24)
"The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah (His Words, the Qur'an) and His Messenger (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam), to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the successful (who will live forever in Paradise).
And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam), fears Allah, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful."
(Surah-24 *An Noor* Ayah-51-52)
"Say: "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away, he (Messenger Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) is only responsible for the duty placed on him (i.e. to convey Allah's Message) and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way)."
(Surah-24 *An Noor* Ayah-54)
"Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much."
(Surah-33 *Al Ahzab* Ayah-21)
"It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error."
(Surah-33 *Al Ahzab* Ayah-36)
"O you who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam), nor speak aloud to him in talk as you speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds should be rendered fruitless while you perceive not.
Verily, those who lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger (Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam), they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and a great reward.
Verily those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense.
And if they had patience till you could come out to them, it would have been better for them. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
(Surah-49 *Al Hujraat* Ayah-2-5)
"... And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad Sall'Allahu alaihi wasallam) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it). And fear Allah; verily, Allah is Severe in punishment."
(Surah-59 *Al Hashr* Ayah-7)
