حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبیﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ اے علی تین چیزوں میں تاخیر نہ کرو، ایک تو نماز جب اس کا وقت آجائے، دوسرے جنازہ جب حاضر ہوجائے، تیسرے جوان لڑکی کا جب (نکاح کا)جوڑ مل جائے۔ (ترمذی)
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کو اپنے اوپر لازم کرلو ، یہ جہاد میری امت کی رہبانیت ہے۔
