Storms of Life

http://immanuelglasgow.org/connect/images/storms.jpg

The storm will pass
One day a young lady was driving with her father in the family car and they drove into a very heavy storm, and the young lady asked her father, 'What should I do, stop or keep driving?'
He said, 'keep on driving.'
As they drove on cars began to pull over to the side of the road as the storm was getting worse. Again the young lady asked, 'Father, what should I do, stop or keep driving?'
'Keep on driving' her father replied.
A few kilometres on the young lady noticed that not only more cars were pulling over, but also some big transport trucks were also pulling over to the side of the road. She told her father, 'Now I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible and everyone is pulling over!'
Her father told her again, 'Don't give up, just keep driving!'
Now the storm was at its worst, but she did as her father had advised and kept driving and then the storm started to ease and she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of kilometers she had driven out of the storm and the sun came out and the road ahead was dry.
Her father said, 'Now you can pull over and let's get out.'
'But why now, Father?' she asked.
Her father said 'When you get out, you can look back at all the people in cars and trucks that gave up and are still in the storm and because you never gave up your storm is now over.'
This is a testimony for anyone who is going through 'hard times' and their own 'personal storms.'
Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up. You don't have to . . . If you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the road ahead will be dry and clear, and the sun will shine upon you again.

Do they say can't be done?
then find the way to do it.

"I can't" usually means "I won't".be the person who will, and world of

It is easy to say "NO" to avoid the challenge
and the effort.

Success comes to those who say "YES"
and then set about to make it happen.

Complaints and excuses will keep you

Yet what is imposible for others, does not

PAID IN FULL

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper,
and he handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on.
After his mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:
For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: 50c
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: 25c
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
Total owed: £14.75
Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see
the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen,
turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:
For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me: No Charge.
For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you: No Charge.
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years: No Charge.
For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead: No Charge.
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose: No Charge,
Son When you add it up, the cost of my love is: No Charge.
When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears
in his eyes, and he looked straight up at his mother and said, 'Mom, I sure do love you."
And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote:
"PAID IN FULL".

Glorious Hadith (Hazrat Abuzar Jandab bin Janadah has narrated this hadis)

Dear Brothers  & Sisters,

Today I am sending a hadith which I have selected from thousands and
I am sure, you may not have read such a glorious hadith before:

Hazrat Abuzar Jandab bin Janadah has narrated this hadis from messenger
of Allah, Muhammad (SAW):

Holy prophet said, Allah has decreed that:

" My slaves! I have made injustice haram (illegal) for Myself and for you. So do
not be wicked to each other.

My Slaves you are all mislead except that whom I provide guidance, so ask Me.
for guidance.

My Slaves! you are all hungry except whom I feed so ask me and I will provide
food to you.

My slaves! you are all dress-less except whom I clothe so ask clothes from me
so that I can clothe you.

My slaves ! you sin day and night and I pardon your sins so ask forgiveness
from Me so that I can forgive you.

Oh My slaves! Neither can you harm Me nor you can benefit Me. If all of
your generations past and present become pious and righteous then you will not
be adding a particle to my Kingdom.

Oh My slaves! If all your generations men and djinn gather in a ground and
ask your all needs and I grant those to you, then you will not be causing a loss
as the wetness on the needle when sunk in an ocean.

Oh My slaves, these are your deeds which I have covered and everybody gets
full reward. So if he gets something good, he should be grateful to Me and he
faces some calamity then he should blame none but himself. "

Abu Idrees Khawlani while narrating this hadis, used to fall down on his
knees. Imam Ahmad bin Hambal said : no hadis superior than this reached the
people of Syria.

Winning / Losing

.

The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure. These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.

Regardless of how you feel inside, always try to look like a winner. Even if you are behind, a sustained look of control and confidence can give you a mental edge that results in victory.

The real winners in life are the people who look at every situation with an expectation that they can make it work or make it better.

If you're not making mistakes, you're not taking risks, and that means you're not going anywhere. The key is to make mistakes faster than the competition, so you have more changes to learn and win.

Often the difference between a successful  and a failure is not one has better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on one's ideas, to take a calculated risk - and to act.

Remember, It's not life or death it's a game and at the end of the game there is going to be a winner and a loser, If you are a winner then be gracious and if you are loser then  be an outstanding one.

Expecting a fantastic game to witness

 GOOD LUCK !

Questions From A Christian

Questions From A Christian
By Mufti Taqi Usmani
Additional comments made by IPCI by Rafeek Hassen (Director IPCI, Islamic Propagation Center International) and
reviewed by Mufti Ebrahim Desai

The University of Birmingham Islamic Society received the following email from a Christian:
=========================================
Hello, I am a Christian who is considering converting to Islam. I have a number of questions which I would like answered --- they are from a Christian perspective i.e. mainly dealing with Jesus and his position in the two faiths. I would very much appreciate your wisdom and help on these issues. Please find time to reply... Thank you.
Questions & Answers:

Q.) 1. Allah - does He love everyone in the world, or only "good" people?

A.) (Mufti Taqi Usmani) 'Allah's love' may have two different meanings: One that He likes the well being of every person. And second, that He likes him in all respects and will admit him into the Paradise. In the first meaning He loves everyone in the world because He likes the well being of all people, both here and in the Hereafter. Because of this love He gives sustenance to every one, regardless of his religion and his deeds, and it is because of this kind of love that He has sent a large number of messengers and revealed the divine books, so that every one may know the truth and after following His instructions becomes entitled to the reward in the Hereafter. But the second kind of love is applicable only to those people who believe in His Oneness and in all messengers sent and all books revealed by Him, and then act accordingly.
A.) (IPCI) Allah is the Creator of All, and as such is the Provider of All. He is also Merciful to all of His Creation. Even the atheist and polytheists benefit from the rain, the vegetation, the air etc. This, Allah out of His Lordship and Mercy provides to all, 'good and bad people', believers or disbelievers, without discrimination. However when we talk of love of Allah towards His Creation especially human beings, Allah is more loving to those who do good deeds :
"And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah and make not your own hands contribute to your destruction but do good; for Allah loves those who do good." [Al-Baqarah 2:195]
Inherently, everyone is 'good' and has the capacity to do good, it's the evil actions that are disliked by Allah, the same person can become liked by Allah by changing and doing good deeds. In the Qur'an Chapter 2 Verse 21, Allah addresses all of humankind:
"O humankind! Adore your Guardian-Lord who created you and those who came before you that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness (do good deeds)" [Al-Baqarah 2:21]

Q.) 2. Did Muhammad understand the Trinity to include God, Jesus & Mary? If so, did that not influence his understanding of Christianity and his teachings?

A.) (Mufti Taqi Usmani) Yes, the Holy prophet Muhammad Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam knew well the concept of Trinity because it is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an in specific words, and it is because of this knowledge that he had refuted the doctrines of Christianity.
A.) (IPCI) "And behold! Allah will say "O Jesus the son of Mary! didst thou say unto men `worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah"? He will say: "Glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing You would indeed have known it. You know what is in my heart though I know not what is in Yours. For You know in full all that is hidden" [Al-Maidah 5:116]
Though the Protestant world does not deify Mary (alayhas salam, or peace be upon her), some of the the early Churches did, and so does the Catholic World till today as it confers divinity on her. The above verse of the Qur'an negates this deification of Mary by some sectors of Christianity. Hence Prophet MuhammadSall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, was responding to this wrong belief of some Christians who were present during his time and who still exist today. Trinity was neither preached nor practiced by Jesus, alayhis salam; he preached the oneness of God. It is impossible to take three things that create 3 different mental pictures and to make them one.
Mark|12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? [Mark 12: 28]
Mark|12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mark|12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
