The incident happened on Neasham Road, Darlington, County Durham, near the town's football ground
just before 8.45am. Up to 12 people including the driver were taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital
but none were thought to be seriously injured.
16: Ana Julia Torres gets a kiss from Jupiter a lovable lion who was rescued from a circus 12 years ago,
at Villa Lorena shelter, in Cali, Colombia. Torres, a 52 year-old teacher, founded the Villa Lorena
animal shelter which protects about 600 animals seized from drug traffickers, circuses,
animal traffickers or were abandoned by their owners.

18: Four five-week-old squirrel kittens, cosy up in a blanket at the Sanctuary Wildlife Care centre in Morpeth,
Northumberland, after the kittens were tossed from the nest when the aftermath of Hurricane Katia struck Britain.
They were rescued and taken to the Sanctuary Wildlife Care centre where feeding is provided every three hours.

20: Fernando Cruz Vega, a 3-year-old boy who was born without arms, draws in a room at the shanty town of
Libertad in Comas on Wednesday. Deysi Vega, Fernando's mother, has travelled from Mollobamba in the jungles of Peru
to Lima to seek medical help and rehabilitation therapies for her son.
