Five Steps to Treat Your Body like a Temple

1- Drink plenty of water:
Try to drink 6-8 glass of water per day. Water helps you concentrate, feel more awake and hydrates your organs so make sure you have a drink every hour. Why not try setting your watch to go off every hour to remind you it's time to have a drink or buy a drink bottle for work to get yourself into a routine of drinking at regular intervals throughout the day.

2- Exercise:
We all know we need it and many of us don’t get enough. So if the idea of going to the gym sends shivers down your spine just make simple changes such as taking the stairs, walking instead of using the car, parking the furthest away from the entrance to shops or you could even try doing star jumps in the advert breaks of your favorite TV program.

3- Healthy Diet:
Try to eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day and at least 2 portions of fish a week, one of which should be oily. If you are struggling to achieve this why not give your diet a boost with supplements such as cod liver oil which can provide beneficial omega-3 and vitamin D.

4- Get your beauty sleep:
Adults need 7-9 hours per night. Get into a sleep routine which allows you to get the correct shut eye! If you find it difficult to sleep, make sure you have time before you go to bed to wind down away from the TV or computer; take a bath, read a book or listen to some soothing music.

 
 
 


grab-some-me-time
5- Grab some “ME” time:
You have also got to take time out of your busy schedule to worship yourself. Why not stick on your favorite comedy, meet up with friends or treat yourself to a massage.
